I'm on spring break and should be relaxing and having a grand ol time, but instead i'm hardcore stressing about being able to pay for college. I get to spend the week applying for grants and scholarships, yay?! Hopefully I get them, I can't afford to keep paying 14 thousand a year, what the hell financial aid, i'm poor!
If anyone has any ideas of scholarship and/or grants to look in to, that would be great!

ugh... i can't sleep. seriously, its been wayy too long since i've gotten a good nights sleep. i'd say i'm averaging 4 hours a night, 5 if i'm lucky.. and this is end of week three of this, oh i do love my life.

There is just WAY too much snow. It was up to my knees! ugh.. and getting work has been a nightmare, i've been making mommy drive me, lol ...no way i'm going to borrow her car in weather like this!

I seriously cannot wait to get the fuck outta durham and go back to school.
I cannot wait to move out of my dad's house, unfortunetly, that won't happen for probably another 5 years. At the very least three, the rest of my undergrad career, then depending on where i go to grad school i may or may not live at home.
I'm just so sick and tired to death of being treated like dirt, which i know I don't deserve, even at my worst. To me, its common scense, no matter what, you don't treat your kids like shit; end of story. We're the ones who are supposed to be immature and say that we hate you when we really don't mean it, not the other way around.
I'm an adult, start treating me like one.
Other reasons being home sucks:
I'm not in a show : (
My work hours suck. What can you honestly do if you're working from 10am-6pm? Not a whole heck of a lot before of after, with travel time, that is 8 hours out of my day. I go to the gym afterwards for a couple hours then I clean, shower, maybe watch tv and go to bed, man my life is exciting.
I haven't seen any of my friends. : ( : ( : (
except for alicia and aimee and mandie for like .5 seconds.
I get lonely easily.
Good to be home:
Rocky starts soon, i love being a bouncer! lol
I'm working a lot, which is good because i students loans will begin to kick my ass in the very near future.
uhh... thats about it.
ohh i get to see grammy and noel a lot. yay!

so its 2:30 in the morning and i'm sitting at a desk with nothing to do. i decided to procrastinate, like it was my job tonight. I work as a night attendant on friday and saturday(hopefully not for much longer) nights checking residences of the building/guests ID's and give them vacuums, toilet paper, fix problem, etc. and i do all of this on friday and saturday nights from 8pm-3am. it fucking blows. i'm SO tired and all i want to do is go to bed.
i didn't sleep well last night cause college fuckin sucks. aka the walls are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING. and i mean everything. i swear to god the floor above me has sex non-stop. its ridiculous. and then last night, the girls next door to us were talking in british accents, and they definitely ARE NOT british. they were probably the worst accents i've ever heard and it was so freakin obnixious. ugh.
oh and the guy that lives in the suite directly above mine decided to sing ridiculously loudly and terribly from 11pm-3am on a pretty much daily basis. especially on the nights before i have an 8am class the next day, its so stupid. and annoying especially since we've (my roommate and i--side note, for anyone who didn't know, i have a new roommate, jaymie, and we get along famously! shes sooo great, i'm so glad my old one is out) asked him to stop singing at such late hours of the night. i wouldn't have a problem with it if he was singing and playing the guitar in the afternoon, you know, when normal people are awake, but why must you wait until i'm sleeping?
hmm... so this is my college rant.
i think i'm thinking differently since i've become a night attendant.
its good money and i get to do all my homework but college kids are fucking annoying.
dont ever become one, lol. JUST KIDDING. but don't be a stupid one.
everyone knows what you're doing and generally even the RA's/RD doesn't care as long as you're not obnoxiously loud and disturbing people. its not a difficult thing to be smart when you're drunk. i've had parties in my suite that is TWO doors down from my dorms Resident Directors apartment and not one person knocked on my door telling us to quiet down and what-not. just be smart... its easier than it looks. lol
ok.. only 15 minutes to go!

1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
The most impressive would probably be going to college. but um, lots of things, left the country, graduated from high school (yesss!!) became an adult (end of 2006, but whatever) got my nose pierced, took dance, etc.
2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I can't remember what it was.. but i most likely will make another one..
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yup, my aunt Alicia had a baby 2 months ago, logan... two days after my birthday, actually. he's wicked cute = )
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yeah.. my great grandma Milly (Mildred Mary Middleton..quite a mouthful, huh?) but she lived a long happy life, so it was ok.
5. What countries did you visit?
Bahamas!! for spring break! (an early graduation present)
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
More money, road trips, go to NYC, more theatre, more dance, more voice, learn about things i care about, unlike useless things like spanish... lol.

Not auditioning for shows at school... because i was too "busy" ...lame!

problems with my ankles, torn iris... long story, it eventually healed itself with some help from steroid eye drops = )

It already happened. Christmas Eve, the whole family went to grandpa Don's house for the annual party and then on Christmas Day, everyone opened presents at home and then we all went to grammy's for her annual party... we're full of parties. = ) oh and every year we watch a christmas story on tv.. ya know the 24 hour marathon... its great!

Seeing a broadway show or ballet and not having voice lessons anymore... stupid keene. my voice coach should move from durham to keene when i'm at school and then back to durham when i'm home.. haha!

I was at school. My parents called me and sent me a package (and i went home that weekend to celebrate) and my suitemates threw me a "surprise" party!! it was really sweet. i had a blast! = )

voice lessons, spending more time with my family

I received a 2.833 gpa for my first semester of college! woohoo : D honestly, i hoped i would've done better, but there's nothing i can do about it now, and i'm ok with the C in spanish that brought my entire gpa down. i've completed my language credit and i will NEVER have to take spanish in my life, EVER AGAIN!!! woohoo. i'm pumped about that. and i'm determined to get at least a 3.0 next semester. although i'm hoping for a 3.5 or higher! = )

so i was watching disney channel today and 'the music in you,' the disney channel show about following high schools that are doing the high school musical as their musical and the kids are some of the worst singers i've ever heard. like it was reallllllyyyy bad. like worse than the original actors, which i personally don't think can sing at all. i was shocked. i wouldn't want to be on T.V. knowing that the cast couldn't sing.... thats kinda embarrasing.

*My new roommate is amazing. We get along famously. AND shes clean!! thank god.
*Christmas Carols are fabulous!
*My suite is decorated Christmas style, and i love it... its basically amazing<3
*Finals are right around the corner... and they will be SO easy. i'm pumped!
*I got my wisdom tooth pulled, and it went extremely well! and i'm in NO pain : D
*I came home for the weekend!
*I got to skip spanish!!!! : D aka, hell. can anyone tell me why a theatre major needs a foreign language credit?
*I got to work at The Rep and see lots of lovely people! yay!
*I get homecooked meals from my fabulously wonderful grandmother! thanks so much grammy : )
*I went out to dinner with Dad and Amy for my dads 37th birthday at the Gaslight.. delish!
*Did I mention Christmas Carols are amazing?! yup, i did!

So apparently I drink more than 90% of women. The fucking Alcohol-wise test I took told me that I drink more than 90% of women out there. Do you know how MANY people/college students have to take the test? Sorry I'm the only person who was honest when I took the test and again when I took the follow-up test earlier today. Oh and only 12% of Keene State girls drink more than I do. Honestly... wtf!?! There is NO way that is at all true. I like to have a good time, I generally don't drink more than once or twice a week and thats on the weekends. AND i've only drank the last three weekend... I didn't have any alcohol (except one beer) the first six weeks of college. The people that run the test can blow me, seriously its so stupid and really ridiculous.
I'm not mad, I just don't want to be portrayed as something I'm not. I'll totally admit to drinking, and yes, like most people, I've drank to much, but even drinking in college, I've NEVER thrown up. So I clearly know my limit and what-not. I like a really good buzz or being slightly drunk, and I know when I'm buzzed or drunk and I stop. I remember almost everything that happens, NOTE: I generally have a BAD memory when it comes to things like that, I don't remember everything that happens in a night when I'm sober (probably from all of the random facts I have stored up in my brain/songs/lines).
Sorry, thats my rant. I just don't want to be labeled as an alcoholic, and the test is labeling me that way, which realllly is not ok with me. Especially since I care about what people think of me (friends and family only for the most part) and I don't want them to think I'm being stupid. Cause seriously, I'm a very smart girl, and I know right from wrong and I know when to stop drinking vs. continuing to drink. So saying that, please don't judge me, if you really want to know, I'll tell you how much I've drank, but its really not a big deal.
I did drink Thursday (No Friday Classes), Friday and Saturday Night this past weekend because it was pumpkin fest and it was my Keene State given right to do so. haha. Honestly though, we would hang out in someones room, drink and have a good time, we went to a party for a while, but it was kinda lame, but whatever. I've NEVER gone to a frat party, and when I drink I'm around people that have (OBVIOUSLY) drank a shit ton more than I have (I didn't really drink in high school, I can honestly only count THREE times, and those three times were during senior year (one was over the summer) and the only time I actually got drunk was my first time drinking, EVER, which was the time I drank over the summer and it was my friend Cara's 18th Birthday).
I am still wicked tired from this weekend, so I'm definitely NEVER drinking Thursday, Friday and Saturday Night ever again. No more than twice a weekend.. I'm thinking Thursday Night and Saturday Night, giving me a breather night inbetween. Or maybe only Thursday Or Friday Night. Cause I don't have classes on Friday and obviously not on Saturday. Idk, whatever happens, happens. Just know, I'm not a lush or an alcoholic.

I guess i'm a big girl now. 1 year left of being a teenager... ahh!
so scaryyy.
Well, here's to one hell of a year, rightttt?
i've gotta make this one count...
this is the last year i have to make up for all the sucky times i had as a teenager.....
so, be extra nice to me this year. haha ; )
